Hate Being Sick.

Town Hall Meeting?

So at my job, they have quarterly meetings with everyone in the building called Town Hall meetings.  Today, they handed out stress balls to us all because of the huge merge in the company that's currently going on!  Yay!  Well, needless to say, I should have put it to work.  Ended up not being a very good day.

Next best thing?  Working out!  Did my arm workouts today along with some cardio.  I'm glad I got it in instead of just going home and moping...  But I'm sad to say that the workout didn't make me feel any better about my day.  :(

Guess it's time to hit the hay and hope friday turns out to be a better day.  If not, I'll just play dance central all night once I get home from work!

Hump Day!

Well, as usual the week is going by slowly but so far I've been proud of my progress.

Monday was going to be arms but i switched it up to do legs instead. (sore arms at a computer job are not a good idea....)  So I'll save arms til thurs or fri.  Managed to stick it out for a full 30 mins on the elliptical.  I'm so used to my mini one that these normal strides just take it out of me.  I get pooped quick!

Last night I wasn't having the best of days at work so I decided to stick with just cardio.  It was nice to just zone out for my workout, let go of my day.  It's super rewarding to feel the sore muscles from the elliptical as well as lifting. :)

Today is national running day.  I'm going to shoot for a mile because that's what the Shrinking Jean ladies are doing. we'll see if i can squeeze more out of myself since today is gonna be abs.

Helping a Friend Move.

We let a friend stay in our guest bedroom for a while and he just moved into his new apartment today.  I helped a bit and got my daily workout!  He lives on the 3rd floor so lots of stairs! :)

Gonna put in some elliptical time at home too just for good measure because it's been another not so healthy weekend.  But dinner tonight was healthy AND awesome.  Baked chicken with rosemary and garlic and roasted green beans!

It's almost monday and the process will start all over again!  Arms workout tomorrow night :)  Get in the exercise wherever you can!  Moving makes a difference.
